O.S. Gray Natural Area
Location: 2021 W. Abram St., Arlington, TX
For May's Community Day our main focus will be to finish up the mulch trail in the western part of the Natural Area. However, if trail building is not your thing we have plenty of other chores to do -- pick up trash, "weed" our wildflower beds, water our prairie, and generally spruce up.
Please bring work gloves and your favorite hand saws, loppers, wheel barrow, shovel, pitch fork, spade fork, shovel or weeding tools, Wear appropriate clothing for the weather and for working in a natural area (long pants, long sleeves, sturdy shoes recommended). Bring sun protection, maybe a camera or binoculars.
Afterwards, if anyone's interested, groups meet near by for lunch.
This group has been approved by the Cross Timbers Master Naturalists for volunteer hours.
